hello.

well yf retreat wasn't so bad after all. AND BY THE WAY I DID MOST OF MY STUDYING AT THE CAMPSITE. so if i do well.. :D hahahaha. anyway, it was from thursday to saturday. at the girls brigade centre. my group was BOB & CO. wheee, red group. andd we won CHAMPS. hahahaha. okay, the first day i went to church at 7.30 although we were only supposed to assemble at 9. cos my dear brother had to be in church at that time. so i decided, why not. go studyy. hahahaha. then beka came not long after and asked me to play for her. apparently she was leading the very first worship of the retreat. and then i agreed. and then was games. a six way tug of war that broke apart the minute we began. LOL. and then we took public bus to the campsite. free time, during which i studied, and time with our qt buddies. mine was sarah fang. and then we played truth or dare. lol. oh during dinner my angel gave me really yummy cookies and a cup of punch! NIGHT GAMES, was well fun i guess. was about the fruits of the spirit! and had to collect 9 fruits in total. in all the stations were okay, but getting 'proposed' to by my cousin was kinda traumatising. lol. the second day was okayy. station games was like good. though i twisted my ankle looking for a passage. the passage was from philippians 2:6-11

6Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!

yeah. but i think the verse is COOL. :D :D :D hahahaha. and we came back late, going for the bbq at u kc's parent's place. then yeah. stayed up super late playing bridge. :D and learning secrets. (: (: hahahaha.

then sunday had worship academy and also michelle, angel and dominic's last sunday in church before they go off to myanmar. for two whole months. i'll miss them. in fact they're leaving tomorrow. :/

ah. i saw him the other day.

ouchh. that hurts. but you don't care, you don't notice. it's only a matter of time before i am unable to bouce up again after a fall.

blogger is oh so screwwed up. my posts that were supposed to be for 14 march became 13 march. lol oh well. can't really be bothered with the dates anyway nowadays. they now solely serve to scare me and worry me about the coming tests and exams. how comforting.

wheee. sometimes it’s just easier to feel like you’re the only one in the world who’s struggling, who’s frustrated, not satisfied but barely getting by. but that feeling is a lie. and if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find you and make it all okay because we all need a little help sometimes. someone to help us hear the music in the world to remind us that it won’t always be this way. that someone is out there, and that someone will find you. but of course when faced with the unknown, most of us prefer to turn around and go back. but once in a while people push on to something better. something found just beyond the pain of going in alone, and just beyond the bravery and courage it takes to let someone in. or to give someone a second chance. something beyond the quiet persistence of a dream. because it’s only when you’re tested that you truly discover who you are. and it’s only when you’re tested that you discover who you can be. the person you want to be does exist. someone on the other side of hard work and faith and believe, and beyond heart ache and fear of what lies ahead.

(: just had math tuition. wheee. and i finally figured out alot of things about alpha beta. so i hope i can get a1 for the a math test on tuesday? hahahaha. :D but about the maths supplementary lessons, 3z and 3n combined. AND THERE IS A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CLASSES. and i really talk God for 3z. we make the world a livelier place. we had lessons in tmp and 3n sat on the right and 3z on the left. and the left side was so noisy. and fun. hahahha. 3z has all the fun people! (: okay. but that was from my point of view. :D HAHAHAHAHA.

yesterday the netballers had a friendly with united world college(uwc). but i didn't go. (: oh well. the show hanakimi is kinda overrated though. it's nice. but it's really far fetched. lol. oh well. :D

hello. another two hour long mathematics extra lesson over. and perhaps the super short holiday can actually begin for me. :D

just now went out with ella, huishan, levinia, joy, michelle and yvonne to first plaza singapura for lunch, then to far east cos yvonne wanted to get jeans. we ate at long johns and then walked around for a good 15mins before deciding to go to far east. far east i saw dew low! hahah, with an ex-nanyang basketballer. i recognised her. hahahahah. then somehow we got to the topic of PROM! wheee. still one plus year to go but it's exciting to think of it! :D hahah. can't wait to see dear ella in a dress. lol. :) and then we discussed the idea of a class jacket/tshirt. huishan our resident artist agreed to help design the jacket/tshirt. :)

in february ms ouyang told us that cedar will be undergoing PRIME in 2008-2009. which means my batch will not have our o levels in an air conditioned hall or our prom in our old school hall. our year is so deprived. always the guinea pigs. since like. primary school. even our syllabus has changed to include LORMS in geography. and I DO NOT LIKE IT. oh well, life's like that. =/

youth retreats this thursday. but with all the tests. i am seriously dreading it. i'm just losing interest. i don't know why or how. just hope this camp can rekindle my previous excitement in joining camps and such.

wheeee. lets pray for a recamp.

just had extra lessons! hahhaha. was doing history notes during the lesson though, cos mrs ng already taught me during the holidays. just now i went for lunch with huishan, levinia and yvonne at broadway food centre then to t3 cube for dessert. feel quite guilty after the cheese cake! i think i'll go run wednesday or something. hahah. then tomorrow there's another 2 hour session after which i am going to do the history essay with sipei. then there's a friendly game with united world college in the evening! so cool right! hahaha. so probably go home first then go meet them after that. lalalala.

i'm bored. feel like uploading pictures of the zonal netball prize giving ceremony at toa payoh sports hall. BUT they're all in the other computer! oh wells. hahahhaha.

WHEEEEE. i'm reading salem falls. borrowed from rebecca. my dear grand aunt. a very interesting book. lol. yeah and jodi picoult just came out with a new book. nineteen minutes. i want to read! lol. i love her way of writing. (: really nice.

speaking of writing, i did a essay timed assignment just before the end of term which i totally screwwed up. the question: 'animals are born free and should remain free' do you agree. i wrote rubbish. yeah. and talking about tests, I NEED TO GO MUG. j2s be happy. i'm mugging now so i can go for the yf retreat! :D hahhaha.

one month later. another post appears. wheeee. yeah, so it's already march. so fast the first term is over. and there's always those SIX tests to look forward to come term two week one. A MATH, E MATH, ENG, CHEM, HIST, GEOG. the physics people have an additional physics test. so maybe i should be thankful i have one less test to study for? lol. JIA YOU 3Z! :D


well OAC was supposed to be a 5day 4night camp which was reduced to a 3day 2night camp. just hope they can like let us have a campfire night. AND I MISSED HE AND TOWER. lol. due to diarrhoea you see. oh well. 3Z bonded alot for those few days. (:

and for the zonal netball competition, cedar b div fought hard and managed to push up our placing to THIRD, defeating st margs TWICE. (: yesterday we just went to watch the south zone finals. ijtp won st margs for c div, and rgs won ijtp for b div. huishan, yvonne, ella and levina came! and after that we went swensons to chat and have fun. hahah, anyway lets hope cedar outstanders together with the sec2 07 can repeat it. they're in the nationals. and confidence, perseverence. (:
